Portsmouth Crowned U15 National Warriors Trophy Champions
Pompey in the Community Girls U15 delivered a statement performance at Sixways Stadium to claim the Pro:Direct JPL Warriors U15 Trophy with a commanding 3–0 victory over Watford.
Pompey in the Community Girls U15 team took control of the match early on and never looked back against a Watford Ladies team which gave everything. In front of a vibrant crowd, Portsmouth’s attacking intent, defensive discipline, and unity across the pitch made them deserved champions on one of the biggest stages in youth football.

Goal-Scorers and Player of the Match
Pompey’s goals came courtesy of Jade Cox and Riley Barnett, with Cox striking twice to put the eventual winners into a commanding lead. Barnett added the third goal after half-time and was named Player of the Match for what was an all-action display. She consistently drove the team forward with confidence, intelligent movement, and composure on the ball - it was a complete performance from one of the day’s standout talents.
One of the most touching moments of the day came with the return of Isabelle English, who made her comeback from breaking her leg earlier in the season. To be part of a cup final after such a setback was a testament to her resilience and determination — a moment that resonated with the entire team and crowd.

coach jack’s reflection
Reflecting on the result, the Pompey in the Community Girls U15 Head Coach, Jack Randall, said: “The girls were fantastic on the day. In the first half, we created so many opportunities and really controlled the game with the ball. In the second half, we showed our ability to defend well as a unit and managed the game brilliantly. The atmosphere at Sixways was special, and seeing the team celebrate with their families made the win even more meaningful.”

Portsmouth’s win in the Pro:Direct JPL Warriors U15 Trophy Final was not just about the result, it was about togetherness, trust in the process, and players stepping up when it mattered most. From back to front, this was a complete team performance. Congratulations to Portsmouth Women in the Community, your 2025 U15 Trophy Champions.
