At the Junior Premier League, we are proud to support the incredible young players and families who make up our football community. Today, we’re coming together for one of them — Frankie.
Frankie, a goalkeeper for a team that competes in the JPL, was seriously injured during her U13 Cup Final on Sunday, May 18th at Gallagher Stadium. While this match was not part of a Junior Premier League competition, her story has touched everyone across our league.
Rallying for Frankie: Supporting One of Our Own

Less than two minutes into the game, Frankie was involved in what appeared to be a fairly innocent collision. Tragically, she was stretchered off unconscious and rushed to Maidstone Hospital. She was later transferred to King’s College Hospital in London, where she underwent emergency surgery to remove a ruptured kidney.
Frankie is now beginning a long road to recovery. She is expected to remain in hospital for several weeks, and her family is facing both emotional and financial strain. We are sharing the fundraising link to support the fundraisers to raise £1,000 to help her mum with the costs of staying close to her daughter during this difficult time.

As a league rooted in community, we’re asking our wider football family to rally around Frankie and her loved ones. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact.
Let’s show what the power of community truly means. Let’s stand with Frankie.
